ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

Location: Sunninghill, Gauteng

SYSPRO is offering an internship in their Product Marketing department. The candidate will be in a Product Marketing support role to the function and is mainly responsible for administration tasks.
This programme aims to equip the candidate with learning abilities that will aid them in the function of Product Marketing. The candidate will then have the ability to evolve and become an active and contributing individual to the team.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Ensuring that minutes are captured and that administrative tasks are performed for the purpose of important cross-functional meetings
  • Following-up with stakeholders regarding the delivery of their items
  • Ensuring the key event schedule is managed correctly
  • Ensuring key event milestones are met
  • Ensuring that you engage with important shareholders and that you meet all deadlines
  • Assisting the Head of Project Marketing with building their LinkedIn profile, with guidance from the Social Media Lead.
  • Ensuring that key topics are researched and written about in the form of ad drafting for different types of posts
  • Ensuring that playbook distribution is managed and reported on all relevant platforms
  • Ensuring communications with workstreams that are down streamed from Project Marketing is managed (Product Marketing re-purposes the playbook)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria - failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be currently studying towards a Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Must be a 3rd-year student in a recognised University
  • Must have A-C grades in communications/strategy and digital-related courses
  • Must have an interest in technology and specifically, B2B technology
  • Must be involved in student body/extra-mural activities (advantageous but not essential)
  • Must have previous work experience/exposure (advantageous but not essential)
