DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Stipend: dependent on qualification level:
Bachelor’s degree applicants: R6 174.96 per month
Master’s Degree applicants: R7 623.35 per month
Doctoral Degree applicants: R9 378.33 per month
The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) is offering a Legal Services Internship opportunity, to suitably qualified unemployed graduates.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
- Must have completed an LLB qualification (preferably with modules in International Law, International Trade Law and/or Administrative Law)
- Must be unemployed
- Must have NO previous related work experience (including previous internships)

The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) aims to foster economic growth and development in order to raise incomes and promote investment and employment in South Africa and within the Common Customs Union Area by establishing an efficient and effective system for the administration of international trade subject to this Act and the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) Agreement.
The main functions of the organisation are: customs tariff investigations; trade remedies; and import and export control.
