DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMES:
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Duration: 1 year
Start date: mid-July 2021
Citi Africa is looking for newly qualified university graduates to join their Learnership programme, which will provide candidates with exposure and practical work experience across various Citi businesses and to make a positive impact in the African economy.
Graduates will be permitted to apply for permanent placements within the year and are will be funded to study towards a postgraduate qualification during their year of work, related to their field of work.
Graduates will be interviewed by Citi’s senior traders and thereafter be placed in the Institutional Trading business area. At 6 months, graduates will be allowed to rotate to any of the other businesses, including Finance, Banking, Human Resources, Markets, Risk, Operations and Technology, Treasury and Trade Solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Education: must have completed an undergraduate qualification with a minimum GPA of 65% OR must have completed a Master’s degree in any field
- Must be completing or have completed SAIFM exams (advantageous)
- Must have no more than 1 years work experience
- Must have strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have strong organisational and planning skills
- Must be committed to career development and personal growth
- Must be dedicated to learning
- Must have global perspective on the future of banking
- Must have the desire to broaden your understanding of the financial/ trade industry
- Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Must show great integrity and ethical decision-making
- Must have good knowledge of domestic or global business landscapes (advantageous)
