DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Mpumalanga
Stipend: R6 083.75 per month
The Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation in Mpumalanga, is offering Internship opportunities to unemployed graduates in the province, who are interested in gaining practical experience in their relevant field.
The following internship opportunities are available:
- Communication: Publication & Production Internship (1 position available at Head Office)
- Archives Internship (1 position available at Head Office)
- Oral History Internship (1 position available at Head Office)
- Arts and Culture Internship (1 position available at Nkangala Region)
- Office of the HOD Internship (1 position available at Head Office)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
- Must permanently reside in Mpumalanga
- Must be unemployed
- Must be a graduate and have completed one of the Degree of Diploma qualifications listed below
- Communication: Publication & Production Internship: must have completed a National Diploma in Graphic Design
- Archives Internship: must have completed a National Diploma in Archives and Records Management
- Oral History Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS), Anthropology and History
- Arts and Culture Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Visual Arts/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts
- Office of the HOD Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Management/ Office Management/ Management Assistant
- Must have NOT participated in any previous government internship programmes
- Must be from a disadvantaged community and designated group (this includes youth, women and people with disabilities)
