DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Springs, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Start date: 1 July 2022

Nampak Bevcan is offering a Toolmaker Apprenticeship opportunity to candidates with an N3 qualification, who are interested in gaining experience within the Toolmaking field.

The programme will allow candidates to experience the following:

partake in intensive practical training and related training
complete all the required theoretical trade modules
obtain problems solving skills and trouble shooting skills
practically conduct maintenance and installations
follow plant rules and regulations
support the production process with sufficient levels of availability and reliability

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must have completed an N3 Mechanical Engineering qualification, with Mathematics and Physical Science
Must have a basic understanding of toolmaking
Must have basic computer literacy skills
Must have good communication skills
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must have a positive attitude
Must be able to take initiative
Must be team oriented
Must be systematic and well organized
Must be willing and able to work overtime and shifts when required
