DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Hatfield, Pretoria, Gauteng
Duration: 24 months
Stipend: R6 500 per month

National Heritage Council (NHC) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Development Programme/ Internship, in the Finance.
 

The intern will be responsible for receiving and recording invoices. They will process invoices, liaise with service providers and assist in the administration work for record keeping.

The programme is being implemented as part of the organisations contribution to skills development initiative, and will commence on 1 May 2022, and end on 31 March 2024.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South Africans citizen (by birth)
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must be a graduate
  • Must have completed a 3 year Degree in any of these fields: Accounting, Financial Management or Financial Accounting field (must NOT be currently studying)
  • Must have 0 to 1 year of working experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Must have excellent organisational skills
  • Must have good time management skills
  • Must have good financial reporting skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Must have strong coordinating skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be willing to learn and take on extra responsibilities if required
