ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:

The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) is a National department that was established on 23 August 2010. The OCJ was established in accordance with the proclamation of the President of South Africa proclaimed, by Proclamation No 44 of 2010. With this, the OCJ supports both the Chief Justice as the Head of the Judiciary as well as the Head of the Constitutional Court.

Duration: 24 months
Stipend: R6 083 per month

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

General Requirements (for all Internship positions):

Must be a South African citizen
Must be an unemployed graduate
Must be 20 and 35 years old
Must not have previously participated in an internship programme
Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Must have excellent time management skills

Internship-specific qualification requirements:
Court Administration Internships: must have completed a 3 year NQF 6/ Degree in Law

Administration Internships: must have completed a 3 year National Diploma NQF 6/ Degree/ Honours degree/ Masters degree in any of these fields: Public Management/ Public Administration/ Administration

Communication Internships must have completed a 3 year National Diploma NQF 6/ Degree/ Honours degree/ Masters degree in any of these fields: Media Studies/ Communications/ Marketing/ Journalism/ Public Relations/ Internal Article Publications/ Graphic Design

Supply Chain Management Internships: must have completed a 3 year National Diploma NQF 6/ Degree/ Honours degree/ Masters degree in any of these fields: Procurement/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Public Management
