Location: South Africa (Nationwide)
Stipend: R17 228 (all-inclusive)
The Oil and Gas Industrie's YEP programme is aimed at candidates interested in pursuing a career within a valuable sector whilst actively establishing the foundation of their future. The YEP programme aims to create employment relationships along various South African value chains by developing enterprises within the private sector through young, deserving, and hardworking candidates.
During the programme, candidates will engage in various skills development activities as well as engage in unique and better-quality job opportunities within sectors that have the largest potential for employment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old

- May be a graduate or non-graduate
- May be skilled or unskilled

ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE TRAINING PROGRAMME:
In 2008, the Oil and Gas Industries' Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) was established to allow all youth to access provisional skills training and the opportunity for employment within the global economy. The Oil and Gas Industries' YEP allows individuals (both in Africa and globally) to train in various Technical and Vocational available skills areas, addressing the main economic cause of unemployment. The programme takes a value chain approach, focusing on integrating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and connects its candidates to market arrangements.
Some of YEP’s sponsors include Sasol, Shell, Chevron, PetroSA, AfricaOil, SAOGA and more.
