ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:

Oos Vrystaat Kaap Bedryf BPK (OVK) offer a wide range of products and services, including crop and livestock farming; wheat, maize, sunflowers, dry beans and lucerne; agricultural education; manufacturing maize meal and wheat flour products; operating tyre centres; operating fuel depots; shearing services; technical field services; client financing services and much more.

OVK are a leading provider in various fields of the South African economy. The company's service area span over 3 provinces, namely Eastern Cape, Free State and Northern Cape.

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State
Contract duration: 24 months

OVK are inviting BCom / LLB / BTech graduates to apply for their Graduate Programme/ Internship. Candidates should be dynamic and ambitious and be able to retain current business, as well as source new business. Candidates will have the chance to gain practical exposure within the insurance business, and work with the insurance team to gain new skills and obtain business insight.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must have completed a BCom / LLB / BTech qualification
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be computer literate and having working knowledge of MS Office
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
Must have strong communication skills
Must have strong organisational skills
Must have strong numerical ability
Must have strong analytical skills
Must have strong problem solving skills
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to build and maintain good interpersonal relationships
Must be able to keep details confidential
