DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: South Africa (remote)
Duration: 12 months

Philips is offering a Marketing Internship opportunity, to allow the candidate to gain valuable skills and experience in an environment that is supportive and promotes learning.

The intern will be part of the Marketing Function in the META region in South Africa whilst working with colleagues in Africa, Turkey, and the Middle East. The intern will engage in both on-the-job and classroom learning, and through this, help the company tackle complex challenges relating to evolving health and well-being needs.

Key performance areas of the programme:
Business Administration Processes:

Cost estimates, purchase orders, processing invoices
Samples, monitoring and controls
Assist with month end reporting
Assist with preparation of presentations, as and when required
Category benchmark and price surveys

Category specific Marketing Activities:

Assist across the team with marketing activities related to all categories.
New Product Introductions - support with insight development, analyzing and reporting on product sales performance, competitor analysis and market trends, listing excellence.
Annual GTM & Marketing Plans - Support the team in operational execution of annual GTM marketing plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
