Preformed Line Products South Africa is offering a learnership opportunity to individuals interested in pursuing a career in Manufacturing and Production. This learnership opportunity aims to give unemployed candidates the opportunity to fully integrate themselves into the manufacturing sector and gain valuable knowledge and workplace experience.
Upon successful completion of the programme, the candidate will obtain an NQF-2 in Production Technology, aligned with the SAQA framework and relevant to the manufacturing sector.
What you will learn during the programme:
- How to communicate information to various end-users that are both production and manufacturing related
- How to fully utilise organisational structures, processes and functions with the aim of achieving production specifications
- How to actively contribute to individual production activities and working groups with the aim of maintaining a safe work environment
- How to understand production technology practices, systems, and terminology as well as how they relate to manufacturing, technology, and engineering
- How to apply quality standards and procedures in production activities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12 with Mathematics as a subject
- Must have an excellent command of the English language (written and oral)
- Must be able to work shifts
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must be able to work in a high pressured environment
- Must be unemployed
- Must NOT be currently participating in another learnership programme
- Must NOT be partaking in studies during the 2022/ 2023 academic year
