DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape and Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Start date: April 2022

Primedia is offering Internships to unemployed graduates who are keen to work with prominent brands and learn from thought-leaders in the media industry. The aim of the internship programme is to enhance youth employability by providing much needed work experience.
 

The following Internships are available:

  • Programming/ Broadcasting Internship for KFM 94.5 and Cape Talk (2 positions available in Cape Town)
  • Digital Internship (2 positions available in Cape Town)
  • Programming/ Broadcasting Internship for 947 and 702 (2 positions available in Gauteng)
  • Music Complier Internship for the stations and music departments (1 position available in Gauteng)
  • Sales Internship (2 positions available in Gauteng)
  • Research and Insights Internship (1 position available in Gauteng)
  • Marketing and Events Internship (1 position available in Gauteng)
  • Digital Internship (3 positions available in Gauteng)
  • Journalism Internship (3 positions available in Gauteng)
  • Finance Internship (1 position available in Gauteng)
  • IT and Technical Internship (1 position available in Gauteng)

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric
  • Must have one of the following NQF Level 5 (or higher) qualifications
  • Programming/ Broadcasting Internship: must have completed a qualification in Marketing, Branding, Communications or Advertising
  • Digital Internship: must have completed a qualification in Journalism, Digital or Media related studies
  • Programming/ Broadcasting Internship: must have completed a qualification in Marketing, Branding, Communications or Advertising
  • Music Complier Internship: must have completed a qualification in Marketing, Branding, Communications or Advertising
  • Sales Internship: must have completed a qualification in Sales or Marketing (preference will be given to candidates living with disability)
  • Research and Insights Internship: must have completed a qualification in Advertising, Marketing or Media
  • Marketing and Events Internship: must have completed a qualification in Marketing & Events, Tourism or Marketing
  • Digital Internship: must have completed a qualification in Journalism, Digital or Media related fields
  • Journalism Internship: must have completed a qualification in Journalism
  • Finance Internship: must have completed a Degree or Diploma qualification in Finance
  • IT and Technical Internship: must have completed a qualification in IT or related field
