DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Rietvlei, Glenvista, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Number of positions available: 20

Rand Water is offering a Water And Wastewater Treatment Process Operations Learnership opportunity to 20 matriculants from a previously disadvantaged backgrounds, who are interested in joining the Water Sector.

Candidates will be required to complete their qualification on record time, in line with the contract agreement for the stipulated period, and after completing the programme candidates will gain an NQF Level 2 qualification.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must NOT be older than 30 years
  • Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
  • Must have passed Mathematics and Physical Science in Matric
  • Must have achieved a minimum of level 4 in ALL subjects in Matric
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Must NOT be registered with any institution for any qualifications
  • Must NOT be enrolled in any other learnership programmes
  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be self-motivated and results-driven
