DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
Location: Somerset West, Western Cape,
Rheinmetall is offering a Logistics Internship opportunity to qualified graduates. The intern will provide support in the Logistics department including shipping coordination for both imports and exports, transport coordination and warehousing support projects.
Key performance areas of the programme:
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing support on transport coordination.
- Support to logistics manager for loading of shipping invoices.
- Provide support shipping coordination for imports and exports.
- Process invoices for transport & logistics service providers timeously.
- Co-ordinate & assist in tracking of transport open requisitions and processing of insurance claims for vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle management system including vehicle maintenance schedules, allocation letters to user departments etc.
- Assist with warehouse management activities including stock take, inventory control, warehouse housekeeping etc.
- Assist on warehousing and logistics projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Must have completed a B – Tech/ Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain and Operations Management
- Advantageous: have a valid Driver’s License
- Advantageous: have 1 year experience
