DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Ngodwana Mill, Mpumalanga
Duration: 2 years

Sappi Southern Africa is offering a Production Internship opportunity to qualified individuals who would like to qualify in Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering.

The intern will be based at the Ngodwana Mill , where they will report to the Human Resources Consultant: Learning and Development and have the chance to grow and obtain the necessary skill, competencies and experience within the related field.
 

Interns will be required to fulfil these duties and responsibilities:

  • Complete section specific training as per the requirements of the position profiles in that section within the agreed timeframe
  • Complete a General and Plant Specific induction
  • Complete legal training as per mill and section requirement
  • Maintains a high level of good housekeeping in the workplace at all times

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed a S4 or National Diploma in one of these fields: Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering
  • No experience is required
  • Must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated
  • Must be willing to complete the full training programme
