DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMMES:

Location: South Africa (various)
Duration: 12 to 24 months

Standard Bank is offering a learnership opportunity to graduates/ matriculants looking to enhance their skills, earn while they learn, gain an additional qualification and enter the job market.
 

During this learnership opportunity, the candidate will enter into a fixed-term employment opportunity at Standard Bank which can range from 12 to 24 months (depending on the nature of their role.) The candidate will also receive a stipend during the learnership opportunity and upon successful completion of the programme, the candidate will obtain a SAQA accredited qualification.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be between 18 and 30 years old
  • Must have completed Matric or a 3 year post-Matric Qualification (subject to the role)
  • Must have passed Mathematics and English with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Matric
  • Must have an excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be unemployed/ NOT employed on a permanent basis
  • Must NOT be currently studying at another institution
  • Must NOT be currently participating in any other learnership opportunity
