Tiger Brands is registered with the FoodBev SETA and provides opportunities in accordance with the requirements set out by SETA. The institution monitors and assesses the necessary work and learning experience needed for certain qualifications to ensure candidates achieve this upon completion.
DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Locations: Potchefstroom, North West & Durban, KwaZulu-Natal & Randfontein, Gauteng & Cape Town, Western Cape
Tiger Brands, accredited with the FoodBev Seta, are providing the following Internship positions, in line with the SETA’s requirements:
1) Food Technology Internship: Potchefstroom, North West
2) Industrial Engineering Internship: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
3) Mechanical Engineering Internship: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
4) Mechanical Engineering Internship: Randfontein, Gauteng
5) Engineering Internship: Cape Town, Western Cape
Interns will have the opportunity to work in many different areas within Tiger (including Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, Bakeries etc).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be residing in the city of where the Internship position is located
- Must be under the age of 25 years
- Must be studying towards a National Diploma or BTech qualification, preferably in one of these fields: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Must be in your final year of study
- Must have a good academic record
- Must be studying at an accredited Academic Institution
- Must require WIL in order to complete your qualification
- Must have NOT worked full time (more than 1 year) in your field of study
- Must have work authorization in South Africa
