ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:

WeBuyCars was founded in 2001, by brothers Dirk and Faan van der Walt, in Bronkhorstspruit, Gauteng. The company originally started as a hobby for the van der Walt brothers, and today, it is the largest second-hand car retailer in South Africa.

WeBuyCars offers sellers a free online valuation of their car, making it easy and convenient to buy and sell vehicles on a digital platform. The website also offers expert sales advice and secure transactions, and offers buyers a wide range of thoroughly inspected vehicles with the required documentation.

DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Stipend: between R12 000 and R15 000 per month

WeBuyCars is offering an Internship Programme opportunity to candidates who have recently completed their tertiary qualification. The programme is open to recent BCom graduates, in the Administration, Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, LLB, Logistics or Marketing field.

The internship will allow for graduates to gain practical "real-world" experience, and relevant entry-level experience required to enter the world of work.

Graduates will be able to use the knowledge they required during their studies and they will be exposed to a range of tasks that will enhance their skills and abilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must have completed one of these BCom qualifications: Administration, Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, LLB, Logistics or Marketing
Must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must be driven and hardworking
Must be computer literate and have experience working in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be eager to learn
Must be punctual and have good time management skills
Must be committed to completing the 12 month programme
