DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Tygerberg/ Mitchell’s Plain, Western Cape
Pay/ Stipend: R50 847.00 per annum
Number of positions available: 3
Contract duration: 12 months

The Western Cape Government Department of Health is offering an Internship opportunity for an Administrative role at their Oral Health Centres.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme

  • Ensuring patient's appointments are booked
  • Ensuring patients folders are drawn up
  • Communicating and contacting patients regarding appointments
  • Ensuring folders are disposed
  • Performing reception duties such as answering telephonic enquiries

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must be 18 to 35 years old
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong numerical skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Must have excellent knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Must have excellent reading and writing skills
  • Must be fluent (oral and written) in two of the official languages of the Western Cape
