DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Contract Type: Part-time
The Westin, along with Mariott International, is offering a Hospitality Management Internship as part of their Management Development Programme. During the programme, the candidate will be exposed to the various departments within the Westin Hotel as well as offer support and assistance to the team during operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric (NSC)
- Must be a registered student within Hospitality Studies
- Must have a valid South African Identity Document
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral)
- Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be interested in the well-being of others
- Must have a passion for interacting with people
- Must be helpful and pro-active
- Must be positive
- Must be intuitive and adaptable
- Must be professional
- Must be fully committed to the programme
