DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng; Cape Town, Western Cape; Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
WeThinkCode_ is offering learnership opportunities to candidates wanting to establish a career within the Computer Science and Technology sector. The program is aimed at candidates with no experience who want to become Software Developers, and will take place at leading coding academies in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. Candidates will have access to global thought leaders within the industry, as well as the latest cutting-edge technology.
The programme (2022 Cohort) will commence in September and once the candidate has completed the programme, they will receive an NQF-5 SETA qualification, becoming eligible for job opportunities as a skilled Junior Software Developer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African citizen/ permanent resident/ on a work permit/ asylum seeker
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must be passionate about technology
- Must be interested in becoming a software programmer
- Must have own, reliable transport
- Must NOT be full-time employed
- Must NOT be studying full-time at another institution
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Applications must be done in these 5 steps:

2) Complete the online assessment on the application site/ book to use the facilities on an allocated assessment day (applicants will receive a link by SMS or email to complete the entrance test)
3) Successful candidates will be invited to join one of We Think's 6 coding boot camps at their Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban campuses
4) If candidates meet all the requirements in the Bootcamp, they will then be shortlisted for a final selection interview
5) Once candidates have passed the final interview, they will be invited as a student of WeThinkCode_
